In this section I will describe some of the wines that I have tasted over time and that made me fall in love with this art. The art of wine...which carries you in all dimensions...from the perfect vineyards waiting for the sun's rays...to the serving in glasses...I will also talk about the perfect glasses for wine...but also about food.
It all started 10 years ago after my trip to France #visitfrance . Where I started to appreciate the wine and its aromas. Then I documented myself .... where I also add that I also started a small vineyard :).
Ok, that was 10 years ago..in the meantime...I left the vineyard aside...and focused on studying wine...of course I still have to learn...a lot...a lot a lot...but I like it...it fascinates me more and more! I bought a few books, including those written by one of my favorite authors: Oz Clarke #OZCLARKE . He explains so well in his books almost everything you want to know about wine....from regions, soils, grapes to reading the label of a wine when you go to buy it.
As I have already opened the topic about the label of a wine, this is what it should describe:
Wine labels usually contain a variety of information about the wine, including the name of the wine, the producer or winery, the vintage (year the grapes were harvested), the grape varietals used, and the region where the grapes were grown. In addition, some labels may include tasting notes or descriptions of the wine's flavor profile, as well as awards or ratings the wine has received.
The design of wine labels can vary widely depending on the producer and the type of wine, but they often feature the name of the wine in a prominent font, along with the winery's logo or emblem. Some labels may also include artwork or illustrations, which can provide additional information about the wine's origin or characteristics.
Overall, wine labels serve as an important tool for consumers to understand and appreciate the wine they are drinking. They provide information about the wine's production, origin, and taste, and can help consumers make informed decisions about which wines to try and purchase.
One of my favorites is HIGHWAY TO HELL, yes I know it sounds a little scary, but the history of this wine begins like....
"Highway to Hell" #winenroses is a wine produced by Wine n' Roses, a band of winemakers from Spain. The wine is made from the Monastrell grape variety and is described as intense and fruity with balsamic, liquorice, and minty notes. It is also labeled as organic, vegan, and vegetarian.
It's interesting to note that Wine n' Roses is a unique winery, as it's also a band of five friends who share a love for good rock 'n' roll and a passion for winemaking. They focus on sustainable practices and using local grape varieties that are well-suited to the region's climate and terroir.
My thoughts.. .
Highway to Hell" is a bold and robust Spanish red wine that embodies the devilish spirit of its name. Made from a blend of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah grapes, this wine has a deep ruby color and a rich, full-bodied taste. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet of dark fruit, vanilla, and spices, while on the palate, it delivers flavors of blackberry, blackcurrant, and black pepper, with a hint of smoky oak. The tannins are firm but well integrated, providing a long and satisfying finish. This wine is perfect for pairing with hearty meat dishes, strong cheeses, or simply sipping on its own while enjoying the fiery sunset of Spain
