I had planned a trip to Greece several months prior, but it took me a while to convince my mother to come along. The journey started in London, with a layover in Cluj, where I picked up my mother. We then had another layover in Bucharest for a few hours, during which I was able to fulfill my mother's wish of visiting the restaurant where my father used to take her. The restaurant is situated in the old center of Bucharest.
I opted for a hotel in close proximity to the city center, but decided against booking a room with breakfast, as I wanted to explore and find a specific place in the morning where I could enjoy a good cup of coffee. This led me on an adventure, as I ended up walking quite a distance until I stumbled upon a pastry shop where I purchased some croissants, Greek yogurt, orange juice, and of course, coffee..
We are getting ready to explore the city, we are very eager to visit the Acropolis... I recommend that you get your tickets online from the website. In this sense, avoid standing in line. The panoramic view takes your breath away...and the ruins make you go back in time or wish you could call your friend who is 'AS' in history (Edeon Dasius) #edeon I was thinking of you. He is passionate about history and everything related to mythology (you can find him at the museum in Alba-iulia). My mother was very impressed by everything and it meant a lot to me. We spend a few days in Athena, we find some delicious food and wine restaurants. Then we take the ferry from Piraeus (I bought tickets online and found them on #GETYOURGUIDE to explore the islands. We arrive in #aegina .where I've wanted to go for several years...the holy place...I can't find it no description...we filled our soul...
Another day we explore the other islands...Hydra and Poros, and recharge our batteries for the meeting with the rest of the family. The next day we have a flight to Thessaloniki #greece . Now my new job as a nanny starts:)...I've been waiting for this for some time.
I stop here... because the time spent with them... is precious..
